Internet marketing is rapidly becoming the most used way to shop there is a catch. Speed.  Consumers are always in a hurry. For a consumer to be able to shop on-line and not wait in a line in a store has become one of the best ways to shop. Standing in lines is a thing of the past. Knowing how impatient consumers are, organizations need to know the “eight second rule”. There has been a lot of talk about just how much time a company actually has to capture and captivate on-line consumers.  Zona Research conducted a study that found that one-third of on-line shoppers waiting for web pages to download will give up only eight seconds. This failure to wait could cost web merchants as much as $4.35 billion in lost e-commerce sales (Zona, n.d.).
